Located 22 miles south of Disneyland and adjacent to the cities
of Laguna Beach and Laguna Niguel, Aliso Viejo has emerged as one
of the most popular master planned communities in south Orange
County. Aliso Viejo is located 7 miles northeast of Laguna
Beach`s main beach park.

Parks
Aliso and Wood Canyons Regional Park is a 4000-acre regional
wilderness park featuring scenic canyons, rock formations, oak and

Aliso Viejo currently features 21 parks including the 90-acre
Aliso Canyon Community Park. Twenty-four parks are planned
for the community.
Aliso Viejo is also within a convenient drive of Laguna Niguel
Regional Park which features a stocked lake for fishing and
boating.
Springdale Park
Directly adjacent to our community is a 3.9 acre
park featuring a basketball court, covered picnic tables, a large
playground, sports field, and nature trails leading into the
Regional Canyon.
Transportation
Interstate 5 is located three miles from the community linking
Aliso Viejo with San Diego to the south and Los Angeles to the
north. The San Joaquin Hills Tollway (73) connects Aliso
Viejo directly to the I-5 and San Juan Capistrano to the south and
John Wayne Airport, South Coast Plaza and Fashion Island to the
North.
Education
Aliso Viejo is located within the Capistrano
Unified School District.
Aliso Niguel High School opened in 1993 with one of the
most sophisticated high school learning centers on the West
Coast. The school features: fiber optic technology, academic
and performing arts classrooms, a media center, gymnasium, theatre
center, swim and dive complex, stadium with football, track and
field, baseball and softball fields, soccer fields, six tennis
courts and seven outdoor basketball and volleyball courts. in
1996 ANHS was named a California Distinguished School - the

serving grades 6-8. The school boasts internet access in
classrooms and student activities such as the Association Student

Center Amphitheater.
Laguna Beach`s famous Pageant of the Masters,
